Millets Recipes
Sorghum Pongal (sweet)
Sorghum flakes – ½ cup
Moong dal – ½ cup
Milk – 2 cups
Jaggery – 1 cup
Cardamon powder
Ghee
Cashew nuts
Drycoconut – as required.
Cook ½ cup moong dal till it becomes soft
Add ½ cup flakes, 2 cups of milk and cooktill itturnsverysoft
Add 1 cup jaggery and cardamon powder
Heat ghee, fry cashew nuts, dry coconut and add to sweetpongal and servehot
