Parotta
Layered Parotta
Refined flour (maida) or wheat flour - 2 cups
Milk - 1/2 cup
ghee - 2-4 table spoons
Salt - to taste
sugar-1 tea spoon
Ghee/butter- for pan frying
1.Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, sugar, salt and mix nicely.
2. To it add milk, little water and mix nicely to make a dough. Rest it for 15 minutes.
3. Dust some flour and roll like thick chapathi, apply ghee,sprinkle some flour and fold it like as shown in the below picture. rest it for 10 minutes again.
4. Again dust some flour, roll it and repeat same process for another 3 times. Finally,like in the picture cut into square shapes or using any round shaped plate cut into circles.
5. Place on hot tawa/pan and using ghee cook on two sides. warqi Parotta is ready to serve.
