Hand Written Recipe
Sambar ToorDal Charu
Red gram dal – 1/2kg
Tamarind (in the size of big lemon)
Onion – 1
Green chili – 2
Tomato – 2
Chili powder -1
eric – 1/tspoon
Turmeric – 1/4tspoon
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt-for-taste
Mustard seeds – 1/2tspoon
Fenugreek seeds – 1tspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2tspoon
Red chili – 1 Beans
Brinjal
cucumber – chopped 1cup
Hing – 1/4tspoon
Keep cooker on stove ad dal, turmeric, Hing, chopped tomato and let them cook for 3-4 whistles.
Keep a pan on stove add oil let oil heat then add Mustard seeds, black gram splits, fenugreek seeds, Red chili, Cumin seeds, curry leaves, garlic cloves, chopped onions, chopped green chili, turmeric and let them fry till onions changed to light brown color.
Add tomato pieces and let them cooked then add Chili powder, curry leaves,1/2 glass of water and cooked dal.
Then add tamarind juice to it and let them boil then sprinkle coriander leaves.
Cook covered till you get the desired gravy consistency.
