Cheese and Spring Onion Stuffed Parotta
1 cup Whole Wheat flour
1 tablespoon Cooking oil
Salt to taste
Ingredients for the stuffing of cheese onion Parotta
1/2 cup Cheese , grated
4 Stalks Spring Onions , chopped
1 Green Chilli , finely chopped
Coriander leaves , small bunch, chopped
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cumin powder

1.To begin making the Cheese and Spring Onion Parotta Recipe, we will first make the dough. Combine all the ingredients for the dough and knead with a little water to make a soft and smooth dough. Cover and allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
Method for Cheese Onion Stuffing 1.Heat oil in a small pan, add in the spring onions and saute for a couple of minutes until soft and tender. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
2.Combine all the ingredients including the cooled spring onions for the stuffing together in a large bowl and divide it into 6 equal portions and keep aside.
3.Divide dough into 6 equal portions depending upon your desired Parotta size.
4.Roll out each portion into thick 3 inch diameter circle, Place a portion of the cheese onion filling at the center of each circle.
5.Now bring the sides of the circle towards the center to enclose the filling completely.
6.Pinch the top to keep the stuffing in. Pat and press down the the filled dough with your palms. Dust it with wheat flour and roll it gently to make a Parotta. The diameter of the Parotta depends on how thin or thick you want it to be. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough portions.
7.Preheat the skillet on medium flame. Place the rolled Parotta gently on it and cook on both sides, using oil or ghee till the Parotta are golden brown.
8.To serve Cheese and Spring Onion Stuffed Parotta, spread butter on Parotta and serve hot with plain yogurt or Beetroot Raita Recipe
